Wizz Air Launches Three New Routes from Chișinău and Increases Flight Frequencies Across Europe

Starting in late October 2026, Wizz Air will expand its route network from Chișinău International Airport.

Passengers will have access to three new direct destinations in Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom. The airline will also increase the number of flights on several existing European routes.

New Direct Flights from Chișinău

The following destinations will be added to the winter schedule:

Chișinău–Alicante

Flights are scheduled to begin on 25 October and will operate four times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

Chișinău–Frankfurt-Hahn

Flights will begin on 26 October and will operate twice a week: on Wednesdays and Sundays

Chișinău–London Gatwick

Flights are scheduled to begin on 25 October and will operate four times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

More Frequent Flights to European Destinations

Wizz Air also plans to increase flight frequencies from Chișinău on several existing routes:
  • Bucharest: from 7 to 14 flights per week
  • Bologna: from 7 to 9 flights per week
  • Dortmund: from 5 to 7 flights per week
  • Barcelona: from 4 to 7 flights per week
  • Memmingen: from 2 to 4 flights per week
  • Nuremberg: from 2 to 3 flights per week
